Used Ford Kugas could be good for icy weather
24 August 2009
Those planning to buy a used Ford Kuga may be pleased to hear praise for its all-wheel drive system.
It said this week that the compact 4x4 includes an all-wheel drive system that spreads torque across four wheels rather than two on demand. This is useful when conditions require increased grip, such as icy ground or when towing, Ford added.
And while the system is used, drivers are given "remarkable traction" as well as "competitive fuel consumption", explained vehicle dynamics supervisor at the car maker Jurgen Putzschler.
The all-wheel drive technology comes as standard on all Kuga AWD models, so those looking for features such as this in their used car might want to consider the motor.
However, it was recently announced that during the month of July, the Fiesta came out on top for the company in terms of sales.
Out of the past nine months, it has been the country's best seller eight times, Ford stated.
