01 September 2009
A change in tyres is expected to improve the fuel economy of the Kia cee'd.
Motorists with used Kia cee'ds who have been happy with their car's fuel economy may be even more impressed with a new version of the auto. The revised model - due to be released early next year - will feature Michelin tyres specifically designed to improve a vehicle's economy.
Depending on the edition of the car in question, the auto will be equipped with products from the Energy Saver or Primacy HP ranges.
As well as helping owners save money at the pump, the tyres may also allow them to reduce their carbon footprint.
In addition, Kia suggested they might prove invaluable in treacherous conditions.
The company commented: "They are capable of delivering the most powerful grip possible on wet roads and are extremely wear-resistant."
Meanwhile, the Kia Sorento recently received a maximum five-star safety score from Euro Ncap.
The new version of the model is also due out early in 2010.
