A new Lexus model may impress used car drivers.

Used Lexus drivers may be impressed with the features of the manufacturer's new motor.

The Lexus LFA has been described by the firm as an "ultra-exclusive supercar", which has advanced technologies and "absolute exclusivity".

It is powered by a mid-front mounted 4.8-litre V10 with a 9,000 rpm red line and can reach 552 bhp and a maximum torque of 480 Nm.

According to the company, it can make zero to 62 mph in 3.7 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 202 mph.

Meanwhile, a rear-mounted six-speed Automated Sequential Gearbox operates the rear wheels.

Commenting on the new motor, chief engineer Haruhiko Tanahashi said: "The LFA is a thoroughbred supercar, a machine engineered to achieve a single goal - to deliver a supreme driving experience."

He also expressed his belief that the vehicle is the "most driver-oriented car" the firm could have made.

Lovers of fast used cars may also be interested in the Porsche 911 Turbo, which was recently praised and described as "the greatest" by Car Magazine.
