Used Seat Leon Ecomotive models may become easier to find
10 September 2009
Seat is to unveil a new version of the Leon Ecomotive next week.
Drivers may find it easier to get their hands on a used Seat Leon Ecomotive model when the second-generation version of the car is released. The manufacturer has announced it will be unveiling the updated auto at next week's Frankfurt International Motor Show.
Equipped with a 1.6-litre TDI CR engine, a common rail fuelling system and a DPF particulate filter, the model boasts CO2 emissions of 99 g/km.
The car will make its debut alongside Ecomotive versions of the Altea and Altea XL, which both release 119 g/km of CO2.
All three vehicles are scheduled for release early next year.
When this happens, drivers may find they can secure a good deal on a first-generation version of the Seat Leon Ecomotive - as owners start trading them in for the revised edition.
Meanwhile, the new Seat Leon Cupra R model is also due to make its debut in Germany next week.
