Used Seat models a hit with Brits
08 October 2009
Seat has claimed its used cars sold well in the UK during September.
Used Seat models proved popular with Brits in September, it has been reported. The manufacturer claimed buyers across the country were vying for top-quality stock, resulting in a strong sales performance for the company.
It pointed out there is currently increased competition among customers for the best autos as the availability of second-hand cars is at a record low.
The group also reported good sales of new models, with some 5,628 vehicles straight off the production line being delivered to UK buyers.
In addition, Seat revealed it enjoyed an impressive fleet and business performance.
Boss Peter Wyhinny said: "The most satisfying aspect of these impressive September numbers is that the success has come across the board."
He added: "Seat is firing on all cylinders."
In other news, the manufacturer recently stated a drop in the number of claims on its cars' warranties over the past 12 months demonstrates the quality of its vehicles is improving.
