Used Seat models proving popular
01 July 2009
Seat has reported it enjoyed a record month for used car sales in May.
The number of Brits driving used Seat models could be on the rise, if figures provided by the manufacturer are anything to go by.Statistics from the company revealed it sold 915 second-hand vehicles in May, beating its previous record by some distance.
David Ardern from the group expressed delight at the firm's achievement.
He stated: "The success of May's used sales very clearly demonstrates the growing appeal of Seat to both new and used car buyers."
The Ibiza proved to be the most popular choice among people purchasing second-hand models, followed by the Leon and Altea.
According to the manufacturer, motorists are opting for its autos because they represent excellent value for money and offer great performance in a stylish package.
Mr Arden said the appeal of the vehicles was clear.
Last month, new and used Seat owners were reminded they are entitled to take advantage of free safety checks at any of the group's UK dealerships.
