A Suzuki Alto has achieved fuel economy of 75.94 mpg at a recent event.
Motorists looking for a used car that could help them reduce their running costs may want to consider a Suzuki Alto.The auto has demonstrated it is capable of offering fuel economy of 75.94 mpg.
It achieved this feat at the recent MPG Marathon - improving on its official consumption figure by 18 per cent.
Suzuki described the model's performance at the event as "spectacular" and suggested a significant number of British motorists may already be enjoying the money-saving benefits offered by the car.
Dave Seward, sales and marketing director, commented: "The Alto is one of the cleanest petrol cars on sale with very low cost of ownership and, with the help of the scrappage scheme, it is proving extremely popular."
The annual MPG Marathon is designed to draw attention to fuel-efficient driving techniques.
Meanwhile, Suzuki recently introduced a Grand Vitara SZ five-door with a 1.9 DDiS engine to its range.
