Used Volkswagen Passats of the future to receive a boost

Volkswagen is giving its Passat range a boost with a new model.
People looking for a used Volkswagen may want to wait until an upgraded version of the Passat enters the second-hand market.The company has announced it is to boost its Passat and Passat Estate range with a new model the Highline Plus.
Containing the same features as the Passat Highline, such as ABS, ESP, six airbags and semi-automatic climate control, the Highline Plus will have a new trim level, as well as a chrome grille surround and louvres.
Drivers will be able to choose between a 1.8-litre TSI 160 PS petrol engine and a variety of other versions.
In addition, buyers will be able to benefit from its Bluetooth capabilities, along with touchscreen adapter that displays the information stored on a mobile phone once it is connected to the device.
The new car will also come with the Volkswagen RNS 310 satellite navigation unit, with integrated radio and mp3-compatible CD player.
Meanwhile, Volkswagen is demonstrating the old saying out with the old and in with the new, as it recently announced it would cease production on the Citi Golf.
