Used Volvo drivers can get winter checks
24 December 2009
Volvo is offering a winter check service until March.
Motorists wanting to drive their used Volvos over the winter can make use of a 25-point Winter Check from the brand.Participating Volvo dealers are offering the service for £30 until the end of March next year.
Areas such as suspension, shock absorption, oil and fluid levels and tyres are all covered in the check.
The half-hour assessment also includes looking at the brake pads and a test for the battery.
Volvo is encouraging people to make use of the deal as breakdowns and car insurance claims rose significantly as a result of the recent heavy snowfall.
If, however, you regularly use the Volvo Service Programme, all aspects of the winter check will have already been carried out at the most recent service your car had.
Volvo has also announced that it is joining forces with music and snowsports festival Snowbombing, which takes place in Austria in April.
The car maker will display several models at the event.
