Vauxhall Motors introduced on Tuesday new models in its line-up that undercuts the prices of its present entry-level models in every car range.
Vauxhalls five latest Expression models and all-new ES models in the Astra and Insignia ranges will offer consumers an attractive point of entry into each range as well as giving them the opportunity to choose a vehicle that they may not have been able to afford previously. Company car clients will also get benefits through tax reductions, based on reduced P11D values.
Aside from the new Astra ES and entry level Insignia ES, five Vauxhall Motors ranges will also benefit from the lower-priced Expression line-up - the Astra Sports Hatch, New Astra, Astra Twin Top, Zafira, and Corsa.
Tempting savings also await Insignia buyers. Dubbed as 2009s Car of the Year, the Insignias price tumbled by around 1,700 pounds to 17,120 pounds due to the unveiling of an all-new ES model, which replaces the current Insignia S.
The Corsa Expression has a starting price of 9,995 pounds, more than 1,000 pounds less compared to the current entry model, while the new Astra Expression costs only 13,995 pounds, over 2,000 pounds lower than the starting price of the current Exclusiv range. Meanwhile, the Zafira Expression now only costs 14,995 pounds, slashing its price by 3,675 pounds.
With the governments Scrappage Scheme almost finished, we recognise that our customers will still be looking for the best offers around on new cars, Vauxhall Motors Marketing Director Andy Gilson said. With the Expression and ES ranges, were reducing the entry-level list price of all key models, while still offering generous specification levels on each car.
