Aston Martin is to unveil its DBS Volant at the Geneva Auto Salon.
The Aston Martin DBS line-up will be complete after the Geneva Auto Salon as the manufacturer will premiere its DBS Volante.According to Aston Martin, the vehicle provides the "ultimate air motoring experience", as drivers can combine driving a sports car with being able to feel the cool breeze of the outdoors.
The Volante, which is to be built at the manufacturer's global headquarters in Gaydon, Warwickshire, features a motorised retractable fabric roof, which can be raised or dropped at the touch of a button.
Aston Martin's chief executive officer Dr Ulrich Bez said: "The DBS Volante delivers the utmost relaxed driving experience with the hood up or down.
"It combines engineering excellence with design perfection."
The vehicle is powered by a 6.0-litre V12 engine, which means that motorists can reach a top speed of 191 miles per hour and accelerate to 62 miles per hour from standstill in 4.3 seconds.
Furthermore, the DBS benefits from the inclusion of carbon ceramic brakes and specially developed Pirelli P-Zero tyres.
