Volvo XC60 gets R-DESIGN revamp
26 August 2009The Volvo XC60 has been revamped in a new R-DESIGN package, in news that may interest used Volvo drivers.
Among the sports-inspired additions to the model include a specially tuned sports chassis and sharper driving capabilities.
The manufacturer stated this will allow motorists to enjoy more dynamic handling and distinctive styling.
A stiffer chassis and damping ensure a comfortable ride on road surfaces of any kind, while a more direct steering gear ratio has made the driving experience better.
Features that have been applied to the C30 SportsCoupe and S40 Saloon, among others, are now seen on the Volvo XC60, including door mirror housings, trim mouldings and a decor trim, as well as twin chrome tailpipes.
The upgraded car comes in seven colours, has five-spoke 18-inch aluminium wheels and sports seats with leather upholstery.
Meanwhile, the Volvo XC70 DRIVe!, recently reviewed by AutoExpress, is great for off-road driving and has a green specification, according to the website.
