Bridgestone Turanza T001
In at fifth place is the Turanza tyre by Bridgestone bringing together reasonable wet and dry weather grip, along with a satisfactory level of low-level of rolling resistance. The Bridgestone Turanza tyre does show its age compared to the more modern options on this list, as compared to the other tyres, it struggled on wet weather braking tests, taking longer to come to a stop.
The Turanza’s rolling resistance was actually quite impressive, but again, compared to its more modern counterparts, it struggled to achieve similar fuel economy returns.
It’s not all doom and gloom though, not by a long shot, the Turanza tyres do still provide a quiet, comfortable ride with excellent dry weather handling and braking capabilities however for the prices you’d pay to kit your car up with the Turanza tyres, you could get one of our other tyre options.
