Five of the Best Carnauba Waxes

Poorboy's Natty's Blue Paste Wax

Poorboy's Natty's Blue Paste Wax

Price: Around £15 for 8 oz.

Poorboy's Natty's Blue Paste Wax is possibly the best low-cost carnauba car wax you can buy currently, and it's definitely one of the nicest smelling, too (it smells just like bubble gum). This car wax is particularly effective on darker paint and it offers a glass-like finish on black and grey cars. For lighter colours, this wax is great too, and it offers excellent beading and good durability (a coating of this on your paintwork will last around a month and a half).

Like the best car waxes, Poorboy's Natty's Blue Paste Wax is easy to apply and rub off. On some cars it can be a little smeary to start off with, but this is remedied by misting a panel before application with cold water.

If blue wax isn't your thing, then you can also get Natty's Paste Wax in limited edition red and white, but each is as good as the other (contrary to belief, blue wax is not for blue cars and red wax is not for red cars - they work the same on one another).
