1969 Dodge Charger
The 1969 Dodge Charger is one of the most highly regarded muscle cars of all time. It sealed its place in history through its appearance in The Dukes of Hazzard and today it's a hot collectable and a popular show car among tuners. The most popular version of the 1969 Dodge Charger has a 440 Magnum engine, which had reduced compression to deliver thumping torque. This version had 375 horsepower, which back in the late 60s and early 70s was a lot. But, it wasn't the best version - the best Charger was the 426 Hemi model, with 425 horsepower and a ridiculous soundtrack.
On our list of the top 11 muscle cars of all time, we ranked the Charger 9th, above the Pontiac Firebird Coupe and Buick GSX. That's how stunning this car is.
